Medical Aid to Haiti, Inc. (MATH)
We Help Haitians Heal Haitians with a commitment to serving the poor and supporting a reliable, consistent and sustainable healthcare system for medically-under-served villagers in and around Port-au-Prince.
Partnering with Dr. Wilkens Gilbert, local Haitian hospital administrator and surgeon, MATH supports healthcare at Hôpital Bellevue-La-Montagne, a community hospital and clinic in L’Oiseau, Marlique, Pétion-Ville, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
MATH Board of Directors, Committee and Mission Team members are all volunteers, and 95% of all contributions go toward supporting the local Haitian staff that provide healthcare 24 / 7, including OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, dental, ultrasound and x-ray imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services, as well as special projects, and medical / surgical equipment and supplies.
