Glastonbury A Better Chance

The mission of Glastonbury A Better Chance is to offer young minority men of demonstrated ability, good character and need, the opportunity to obtain an excellent education in the town of Glastonbury.
CONNECT
Every year, promising young men of color are selected from middle schools across the Northeast for a chance at something different — a transformative education, a residential community of peers, and a network of adults who are genuinely invested in their success.

Glastonbury A Better Chance welcomes up to 8 scholars annually and partners with Glastonbury Public Schools to provide access to Glastonbury High School — giving scholars the academic foundation and resources to pursue their full potential. As one of 19 community-based programs affiliated with the national A Better Chance organization, we're part of a nationwide legacy of expanding access and opportunity for young men of color who are ready to rise.

This year's Birdies for Charity campaign, A Day in the Life, invites you to see exactly where your support lands — from the meal on the table after a long school day to the tutoring session that makes it all click. Our donor impact tiers are illustrative of the kinds of moments your gift makes possible — all donations go to GABC's general operating fund, which covers everything it takes to run the program. We believe that brilliance thrives when opportunity meets belonging. Your gift helps make that possible.
