Connecticut Ballet
Connecticut Ballet is a nationally recognized, professional dance company currently celebrating its 45th anniversary season. Connecticut Ballet is headquartered in Hartford and performs statewide. In addition to full-scale classical ballet productions, Connecticut Ballet’s Center for Dance Education offers a comprehensive educational program which includes school assemblies, outreach classes at residential treatment facilities, schools and community centers, and a Trainee Program for pre-professional ballet dancers.
Connecticut Ballet presents the highest quality professional ballet at The Bushnell (including The Nutcracker with accompaniment by Hartford Symphony Orchestra) and educational programming for mainstream and at-risk youth in greater Hartford. Open to all, the annual free BALLET UNDER THE STARS performance at Elizabeth Park is a highlight of the ballet season.
