Linens of Love, Inc. works with sixteen different social service agencies and nonprofits statewide to provide such basic items as sheets, comforters, blankets, pillows, towels, and toiletries to their clients who otherwise would go without them. In many cases, individuals and families are placed in permanent housing after a period of homelessness or shelter living and they often have nothing to bring with them to their new house that will make it truly a home. It has been our honor and privilege to help these folks feel the warmth of a new home by giving them essential items that many of us take for granted. These items are important to make one feel a sense of dignity and well-being. Having received so much positive feedback that we provide for a very real, but overlooked need, we are always looking for ways to reach more people in need.
