The Archbishop's Annual Appeal, which begins each January, raises crucial funds to support the many ministries of the Archdiocese. Through the generosity of our donors, we can continue to provide life’s necessities to those in need: a warm meal, a bag of groceries, a safe place to sleep, and a source of guidance and support. Programs such as the Malta House of Care and the Vicariate Outreach Program are making a tangible difference in our communities.

Since its inception in 1997, the Vicariate Outreach Program has distributed more than $24 million to local organizations. In 2025 alone, over $1.2 million was allocated to charities across Hartford, New Haven, and Litchfield counties, directly benefiting those in need.

Every dollar raised through the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal is used in the same year to fund these vital programs. No Appeal funds are ever used for administrative costs or legal fees. Your generosity directly impacts the lives of those we serve.
