Our mission

South Park Inn’s mission is to improve our community by providing equal access to shelter and solutions for all people to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
South Park Inn
Established in 1982, South Park Inn provides a range of programs and services to assist people experiencing homelessness as they transition back to permanency. The agency’s goal is to provide a safe, temporary place to stay while individuals identify the supports and opportunities that will lead to long-term housing solutions.

South Park Inn (SPI) keeps its doors open 24/7/365, providing triage and emergency shelter beds that serve men, women, and LGBTQ+ guests with dignity, offering a safe and supportive environment for Veterans, and providing comprehensive case management services for all guests in the shelter, including rotating care clinics that hit the trifecta of dental, physical, and mental health. Lastly, SPI works to help those in need obtain stable, permanent housing, thereby breaking the cycle of homelessness for our community members.

Yes, we see many success stories!

SPI exists to help people succeed. SPI program staff aim to support our guests in maintaining their routines and minimizing the disruptions they face while transitioning to their new homes. SPI staff work alongside our guests as partners and resources, offering assistance rather than directing them.
