Kuhn Employment Opportunities is a non-profit agency committed to helping people with disabilities find and retain employment. We serve people with developmental, intellectual, and psychiatric disabilities in Meriden and the 20 towns surrounding it. Our mission is to develop quality person-centered services through meaningful employment opportunities that provide people with disabilities, the skills and support necessary to become independent, gain self-esteem and be productive and valued members of the community. We live by the philosophy that all of our participants are VIPs: Valued by the community, Independent by earning a wage, Proud of the work they do.

Kuhn Employment Opportunities, Inc. is a Meriden-based 501(c)3 non-profit committed to supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental and/or psychiatric disabilities participate in community employment through job assessment, job development, on-the-job training and on-the-job support, as well as to participate in meaningful day support programs. The agency serves approximately 400 individuals annually and has been providing vocational rehabilitation/employment services throughout Central Connecticut since 1962. It is the mission of Kuhn to help individuals to achieve their employment goals and to become Valued, Independent and Proud members of the community
